This has been an ongoing collaboration with a great and dedicated family. The original stone cabin was one of the first in the area and built by family members well over 130 years ago. When we started it wasn't assured we would be able to save the original building, but through careful design, deconstruction, and countless hours by family members spent on stabilization, the original cabin is still the heart of this update, both visually and structurally.

The updated cabin still includes many of the features the family loved about the original, but now expanded to fit the growth, and improvements for year-round use. Updates include modern insulation and windows, including a 17-foot multi panel door in the Great Porch, large kitchen and dining spaces, geothermal radiant heating, and multiple bathrooms!
